Do I need previous business or coaching experience?

No, all you need is your drive and passion for getting children active by inspiring them through sport. As part of your induction you will participate in training, which will enable you to operate a business involving kids and exercise, helping you succeed in both the fitness industry and childhood development.

What initial training do I get?

The initial induction training covers a comprehensive selection of topics about owning your own franchise with Soccajoeys including finance, delivery, recruitment and marketing. Upon successful completion of the induction course you will have the knowledge to operate your Soccajoeys business.

How do you support me after I have set up as a Franchisee?

You can be reassured that we have a strong franchise system with the support infrastructure in place to ensure you have the best opportunity to rapidly grow your business. You will be allocated Head Office support staff, who will accompany you on meeting and be with your throughout. You’ll also be invited to attend core training throughout the year to ensure that you are kept up-to-date with all the exciting developments in terms of delivery and brand.

How long does the application process take?

This can vary for each individual, however, it generally takes 6 weeks from initial enquiry to signing the Franchise Agreement. Find out more about the steps to getting started here.

What is the total investment?

This can vary depending on the package on offer, but you can expect an investment amount between $40,000 and $50,000.

As a franchisee, do I have to become a coach for the kids?

All franchisees will be trained in program delivery to have an overall understanding of the business. For those who have considered careers with children or sports coaching, then becoming a coach is certainly an option. However, you will have a team of trained staff members as sports trainers to deliver the program on your behalf as well.

Can I speak with current franchisees?

Yes, of course! You will not only have the opportunity to speak with our network of existing franchisees, you will have the opportunity to observe the franchisees delivering sessions as part of the recruitment process. Hear about our franchisee success stories.
